Piper Perabo
Piper Perabo has been nominated for an
Golden Globe as a stage or TV actor. She was born in Dallas, Texas and raised
in New Jersey. Coyote Ugly was her breakout role. Since then she has been in
movies such as Christopher Nolan's "The Prestige" featuring Hugh
Jackman and Christian Bale, "Because I Said So" with Diane Keaton and
"First Snow" featuring Guy Pearce, "Cheaper by the Dozen"
films starring Steve Martin, "Imagine Me & You" featuring
Lena Heady and Matthew Goode and the crime drama "10th & Wolf"
with an ensemble cast that included James Marsden and Dennis Hopper. She was in
the film with Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Emily Blunt and Jeff Daniels
in Rian Johnson's sci-fi action flick "Looper.". On television,
Perabo played Annie Walker in all 5 seasons of USA Network's spy thriller
"Covert Affairs." Then, Perabo appeared as Annie Walker on USA
Network's spy drama "Covert Affairs." "And is set to appear on
Netflix in "Turn Up Charlie" alongside Idris Elba. In Neil LaBute's
controversial show, "Reasons to be Pretty", Perabo made her Broadway
debut. She was nominated by the Tony for Best Play. Perabo is also an activist,
in addition to her work on screen and stage. Perabo is an International Rescue
Committee Voice to help those affected through persecution, war or oppression
from the political. Piper lives in Los Angeles and New York City. She graduated
from Toms River High School North in 1994. In high school, she was in four of
the school's musicals. The senior year was Katie in Me in St. Louis, junior
year she played Cousin Fan as well as Lady Brighton in Mame; the year after
sophomore, she was Lady Brighton and Lady Brighton respectively; and freshman
year she was a dancer and choreographer in How to Succeed In Business Without
Really Trying. In high school, she was the president of the National Honor
Society and the editor of the school's literary magazine, Polaris. In high
school she was part of the Marinerettes as a dancer for the field show during
the football games.
