Kari Matchett Biography

Kari Matchett Kari Matchett, an Canadian actor, is best recognized for her performances in movies such as 'Apartment Hunting "Men with Brooms" and  The Tree of Life. Her birthplace was in Spalding (Saskatchewan) and then relocated to Alberta, Canada where she completed her high school. She began to develop an interest in acting in her teens. She attended the Montreal's National Theatre School and then transferred to the Moscow Theatre School for further training. In 1996 she made her TV debut as a supporting role in the Canadian show 'The Rez. Also, she appeared on shows like Ready or Not' and Forever Knight' that year. In the latter part of 1990 when she made her debut in film in the form of the film "Papertrail" and later appeared in films such as "Men with Brooms" and "Cypher." She also played an actor in a supporting role on shows such as "A Nero Wolfe Mystery and 'Blue Murder. The actress was also in film throughout the early 2000s, however her film appearances were not as prominent as the TV roles she played. The actress also played the character in the role of Colleen Blessed in the 1998 Canadian drama series "Power Play. The show was on for two seasons with 26 episodes, and was highly praised by critics as well as advertisers. The role she played in the show was recognized with a 'Gemini Award. Jude Lyon Matchett was her first child. But she didn't disclose the father's name. According to some sources, her ex-boyfriend is father to her son. Kari Matchett met T.W. Peacocke and Kari Matchett around the late 1990s. They began to date and got married in 1998. The marriage was not a success and they split in 2006.
