Mary-Louise Parker

Mary-Louise Parker (born August 2, 1964) is an American actress. After her Broadway debut in Craig Lucas's Prelude to a Kiss, in 1990, Parker was nominated for an Tony Award for the role of Rita. Between 2001 between 2001 and 2006, she reprised her role in the role of Amy Gardner in the NBC TV series The West Wing, for which she was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2002. In her role as Harper Pitt in the HBO miniseries Angels in America, she was awarded an Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award. She also won a Primetime Emmy Award and a Primetime Emmy Award. In 2006, Parker was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award in Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama. In 2007 Parker received three nominations for The Primetime Emmy Award in Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. She also was awarded the Golden Globe Award in 2006 for Best Actress in Red (2010) and Red. (2013), and Red 2 (2013). Parker was back on Broadway in the year 2019 to play in The Sound Inside, for the second time, she won a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play. Parker has been contributing content to Esquire magazine since 2007 and publishing Dear Mr. You in 2015. In 2017, she played as Roma Guy on the ABC miniseries on television called When We Rise. In 2018, she served as a political advisor on Billions, which is a Showtime series.
