Ayelet Zurer
Ayelet Zuer, an Israeli actress, has
received praise for her performance. Her birthplace is in Tel Aviv, and first
attracted the attention of Hollywood when she was cast by Steven Spielberg in
her first English-speaking part, playing Eric Bana's character's wife in the
Oscar(r) nominated film Munich (2005). Zurer is an American actress that has
appeared in Studio films, including Sony Pictures' Vantage Point and Vantage
Point, starring Dennis Quaid (with William Hurt), Samuel Goldwyn’s Fugitive pieces
alongside Stephen Dillane, Paul Schrader’s Adam Resurrected along with Jeff
Goldblum and Willem Dafoe. Ron Howard's Angeles and Demons is opposite Tom
Hanks. Darling companion with Lawrence Kasdan and starring Diane Keaton and
Kevin Kline, and Warner Bros. Man Of Steel which is starring Russell Crow, is
Ron Howard. The actress filmed Rodrigo Garcia, Last days in the desert with
Ewan McGregor while waiting for the release of her film The Last Knights by the
Japanese director Kazuaki Kiriya, who is also starring Clive Owen. She recently
won the Gold Nymph Award for Outstanding actor in a Drama Series at the 54th
Festival of TV of Monte-Carlo for her role in the TV show "Hostages".
Ayelet has been awarded an Israeli Film And Television Academy Award for her
performance as Nina's Tragedies. Ayelet also won nominations for her
performance in the features Only Dogs Run Free, The Dybbuk from the Holy Apple
Field, Desperado, and Rutenberg. Zurer was awarded the Haifa International Film
Festival critic prize and received a star on Haifa’s "film boulevard"
for her local and international achievements. Zurer was also awarded the
Israeli Television Academy Award for her role as the lead actress in "In
Treatment,"" which is a highly-acclaimed television show that was adapted
by HBO for American television. In 2014, she was nominated as an apposite
actress in the year's best drama "Shtisel" which she won the award
for best actress in a drama for her performance as a brilliant surgeon facing
the decision of life or death in Hostages that was licensed to BBC4 and Canal
Plus, and as an alternative to the American ABC. Golbary is one of Israel's top
women's fashion brands. It is the "face" of Golbary. Ayelet is a
producer as well as a author, and an illustrator of two adult books,
"Shorts" and the bestseller "Badolina" by Gabi Nitazn.
Ayelet is currently working on number of her own projects in Israel and in the
US, expressing desire to collaborate internationally with directors from across
the globe she believes in joining with new writers and directors as well as the
well-known ones.
