Robin Gayle Wright was born in Dallas,
Texas, to Gayle (Gaston) who was Director of the national office at Mary Kay,
and Freddie Wright, a pharmaceutical executive. Her home was San Diego,
California. Her professional career began as a model at the age of 14, and also
worked in Paris as well as Japan. When she graduated from high school she
became an actor. She was cast in the soap opera Santa Barbara (1984), where she
was nominated three more times for Daytime Emmys. Dane Witherspoon was her
fellow cast member, and she was married to him in 1986. Then, she appeared on
The Princess Bride (1987) as the lead character. Following her departure from
Santa Barbara, she was given the lead role in Denial (1990) as well as Jason
Patric. In 1990, she was in State of Grace (1990) and met actor Sean Penn, by
whom she had a daughter named Dylan Frances, and a son named Hopper Jack. Robin

career, after taking a break. She was stunning and brilliant. She then appeared
in Toys (1992) alongside Robin Williams, and she delivered a hilarious
performance. Wright played the role of Jenny in 1994's blockbuster smash

Award for her part in the film as Jenny. She was also given a tiny part in The
