Emily Swallow

American actor Emily Swallow was born December 18th, 1979. Her role in The Mentalist as Kim Fischer and Supernatural as Amara/The Darkness are her most famous. She also played the Armorer in Star Wars' live-action series The Mandalorian. Emily played an unimportant role in The Last of Us Part II. Swallow was born in Washington, D.C. on December 18th, 1979. She was raised in Sterling, Virginia, and Jacksonville, Florida. She started acting in the Stanton College Preparatory School, Jacksonville when she was an undergraduate student. Swallow graduated from the Stanton College Preparatory School in the city of Jacksonville in 2001, with an undergraduate degree in Middle Eastern Studies. She continued to study to earn an MFA in Acting at the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. In 2008 she made her film debut with The Lucky Ones, a military-themed drama. She was the star of the world premiere of Donald Margulies’ play The Country House at Los Angeles’ Geffen Playhouse. She also played opposite Mark Rylance in Louis Jenkinsthe production of Nice Fish at Guthrie Theatre. In 2010 she was awarded the Falstaff Award as best female actor for her performance in The Taming of the Shrew. She also appeared alongside Jac Huberman in Jac N Swallow's musical romantic Poetry at the Manhattan Theatre Club. The show revolves around the hilarious adventures of Jac Huberman and Swallow when they confront a variety of situations in their lives, with different degrees of difficulty.
