Summer Bishil Bio

Summer Bishil was raised in Pasadena (California). She and her family relocated overseas when she was only three. Summer went to American and British schools, while her family was living overseas. She returned to Pasadena shortly before her birthday, which was on 14th September. Summer was infatuated with the idea that she would be an actor since she was five in her life, took her first acting class at the age of 14. Nine months later, she signed with an agent and an agent and started to follow her dreams full-time. She is currently working towards her degree at the college level in her spare time. She was named one of the "Ten Actors To Watch" by Variety (2007). Nominee for Best Actress – Spirit Award. Bishil began taking acting lessons at the age of 14. It was like an extended PSA about inappropriate touching. Bob Strauss, a Los Angeles journalist at the newspaper, declared that Bishil "...is among the most gifted natural film actresses in recent years. Gary Goldstein, in a September 12 Los Angeles Times, review of Towelhead declared that Summer Bishil ("...newcomer) gives an impressive and quietly captivating performance as Jasira. She was the director of Wayne Kramer's Crossing Over project in 2009 which starred Harrison Ford and Ray Liotta. Jay Reiner of the Associated Press liked her portrayal. She was picked to play Azula in M. Night Shyamalan's 2010 film The Last Airbender, and was planned to be the subject of the planned but never-produced sequel.
