Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching was born March 28th, 1977. She is an American actress. Her roles include Renee Walker on the American television show 24. Motion capture and voice work were also done for Tess in Naughty Dog’s videogame The Last of Us. Wersching was born and was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated in the year 1995 from Crossroads College Preparatory School. In her early years she was a competitor in Irish dance, and was a part of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. She has completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in musical theatre from Millikin University, graduating in 1999. Wersching's acting career began with an appearance as a guest on Star Trek: Enterprise. Then, Wersching was invited to appear on guest shows like Charmed and Killer Instinct. From March through November 2007 she was the regular character of Amelia Joffe on the ABC Daytime soap opera General Hospital. Other theater credits include Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and Utah Shakespearean Festival. Wersching also appeared in several guest roles on shows such as CSI, NCIS and Rizzoli and Islands Hawaii Five-0 and Body of Proof. 2014 saw her becoming an ongoing series regular on the Amazon Prime crime drama Bosch. Wersching played the National League's catcher on 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. In December 2012, it was revealed that Wersching played the voice actor and mo-cap actor of Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us. Geoff Keighley teased her character on Twitter, before she was revealed in the Spike Video Game Awards story trailer on December 7 December 7, 2012. Wersching was set to take on the role of the Borg Queen in Star Trek: Picard in September 2021.
