Rashida Jones

Rashida Jones was the younger daughter of media producer, mogul Quincy Jones and actress Peggy Lipton. Kidada Jones is her elder sister. She has five half-siblings from the other relationships her father had with his family. Her father is African American and her mother is Ashkenazi Jewish (a descendant emigrants of Russia as well as Latvia). Rashida was raised Reform Judaism. She was born in Bel Air, Los Angeles. Jones stated that Jones' mixed race parents were not acceptable to her during the 1970s. Jones began her debut as a professional actor in The Last Don in 1997 A mini-series that was inspired by Mario Puzo. In 1997, Rashida graduated from Harvard University. The poem was the inspiration for the title of the song. Rashida's dad is African-American and also has smaller amounts of English, Scottish, and Welsh and Scottish and Welsh ancestry (some of his African relatives were of the Tikar people of Cameroon).
